Belated Imbolc Blessings, everyone! Here for your enjoyment is the Imbolc 2025 edition of SerpentStar. It’s been a while coming, and I hope you enjoy!

Imbolc to Alban Eilir is always a busy time of the year for us here in Meanjin (Brisbane), where the winter days pass through the cold and wet season into the bright freshness of spring breezes and the gentle heat of the sun. We know that it’ll get steadily warmer, but it’s nice and mild at the moment as the wattle blooms.

There’s also a bit of a twist to this issue (and part of the reason it’s on the late side)… there are two issues released at the same time! Along with the Imbolc issue, please enjoy a SHOBODA special for 2025. The submissions from the Assembly alone caused the Imbolc issue to be too big for our humble WordPress site to handle!

I’d like to take a quick moment (as always) to thank our contributors for their amazing submissions, and to remind our wonderful readers that I accept contributions for SerpentStar at all times of the year. If you have an article, recipe, pictures, drawings, music, videos (almost any way your Awen manifests, really!) that you’re unsure about submitting, don’t be afraid to send it in.
